Once again, can't thank everyone enough for all the birthday wishes! I signed up for #CoSo one week ago today, got four hours of fun before the crash, two days of excited anticipation waiting for the return, and now a week later I find myself part of a wonderful network I would have never dreamt possible. We've got tough and strange days to navigate ahead of us but I'm looking forward to braving the future together with you all!

And I had realized over two years before that, that I could be thrown away in an unjust war like Viet Nam was. Now, I knew, if I protested, they might kill me for that, too.

We should not have to fear the power of our government.

But we must fear it because there are those in it who wish to use that power against us...and ON us.

Time for protest! AND FOR VOTING WHILE THAT LASTS.

To the New folks:

For you that are still here, thanks. For helping other newcomers, and becoming aware that CoSo has a very different culture. It looks like the rate of growth has gone down to about 10-20 new people an hour. I for one, appreciate each of you that have picked up on our habits and norms.

I’ve always perceived that CoSo has made me smarter, exposing me to a variety of people with impressive funds of knowledge and perspectives.

I am truly excited by the many new arrivals who bring so much with them.

I know I’m going to continue growing and learning thanks to all of you.

Hi Mom !

A tradition in my family. My mom hated "Mother's Day", for all the commercialization. So, she started a family ritual. She proclaimed that the Ocean was our real mother, and thus we would all get in the car and drive to the beach, or get on a boat or on a ferry. Whatever, and spend "Mother's Day" celebrating.

When she passed we did the same, spreading her ashes, into the Puget Sound that she loved so much.

Auto correct gets such a bad rap...
It's bad enough when Auto cucumber changes a letter but when Auto carrot start changing the whole word I draw the line, and don't even get me started about when it starts adding a whole paragraph. I mean the apples are blooming pretty good because I fed the purple unicorn peanuts in the middle of the ocean while my dog decided to go for a ride to work
