The gain in elevation was about 1,000 feet. And we felt every foot of it. This was supposed to be a 'moderate difficulty' trail. It kicked our ass.

I decided to try web life without javascript for a while. It's been an adventure.

Some sites work. Some don't work at all. Some only work partially. A few (like DuckDuckGo) have a non-js site, which they'll automatically redirect you to.

I've got an existing plugin/extension for Firefox that allows me to disable javascript entirely, and then enable for individual sites.

It was nice to *not* have to install anything new.

Yesterday I learned I could make it from Jacksonville to Orlando on a full charge of my EV. What's the EV equivalent of "running on fumes"?

I get stressed when the dashboard lights up like this. 😰

It's gratifying to get through to the next round. Especially by dethroning the defending champs. That was a stressful series.
