I finally got a shot of this elusive bird. I'm not a birder, but it's gotta be a 'spoonbill' of some sort, I'd imagine.
Its pink color didn't come through so well from a distance. /shrug
@DaveMasonDotMe roseate spoonbill. their color is from the shrimp they eat. the older they get & the more shrimp they eat, the pinker they become
