I decided to try web life without javascript for a while. It's been an adventure.

Some sites work. Some don't work at all. Some only work partially. A few (like DuckDuckGo) have a non-js site, which they'll automatically redirect you to.

I've got an existing plugin/extension for Firefox that allows me to disable javascript entirely, and then enable for individual sites.

It was nice to *not* have to install anything new.
