With many people fleeing twitter I noticed that both Counter Social & Mastodon Social started to slow down (I was briefly unable to connect to both too).

I am seeing many more people online asking for TruthSocial to be shut down (due to the violent rhetoric from the website). This would be extemly difficult (at least legally) as their host would refuse any court order not issued by SCOTUS.
Even if Verisign siezed the domain, they could relaunch under the .gop domain (yes, the GOP has their own domain extention).

DuckDuckGo increases protection from Microsoft trackers after community backlash.
In May, the privacy-first browser DuckDuckGo suffered backlash from the community after a publication posted that while the browser blocked Google and Facebook trackers, it allowed Microsoft trackers to continue.
Starting next week, DuckDuckGo will expand the third-party tracking scripts it blocks from loading on websites to include scripts from Microsoft

My #Introdutions: I did a quick search in my email & I ironically signed up for Counter Social 4 years ago (in 2018) when I was becoming disillusioned with social networks overall.
Counter.Social was my very first encounter with the Mastodon software, & this is before I even heard about Mastodon (the latter which I learned about this year).
I signed up for Pro (as I believe we should support the services we use if possible) & I like it here thus far.
Okay, so far I like it here. I do have my other Mastodon account on a self hosted instance/domain/server, but it’s good to see a place free from trolls.
Here is a fairly recent picture of me holding a Nalgene bottle (which I carry everywhere).
