Though it is important to keep in mind that evolutions in technology both remove, and create jobs.

The printing press, typewriter, computer, the internet. Thousands of jobs disappeared, but many more were also created from those advances. And when the technology is in the hands of the people, there are fewer gatekeepers for individual expression and entrepreneurialship.

So at this nexus of change, its important not to focus on where we are, but where we are going

@miinx I think its important at this stage; to watch the billionaires that replace jobs with Ai. Make sure that those savings are passed on to the consumer, and not just used to line the pockets of the already filthy rich.

That sounds difficult to do, but its important to remember, that while mega corps can use it to cut costs, so can the average person. It can fill a void that was unaffordable to the average person. It can even be used to bring the change to society that we need.
