Seems that America doing well, based on the metrics, doesn't factor in the elusiveness of the "American Dream". It's one thing to disagree with facts. It's another to find the facts to be of little or no comfort. Telling a person that things are going well when they're personally in a struggle to, for example, stay housed, is not the basis of a productive conversation. Maybe reporters would learn more through using open-ended questions. People don't feel statistics.
America's had "issues" from day #1, but in 2023 the issue is a Supreme Court that suppresses rather than protects freedoms, and which is in defiance of the will of the majority of citizens. IT'S TIME FOR A REVOLUTION

Millions of Americans live in cocoons of lies and deception that have been manufactured and maintained by those seeking to grasp or retain power. We think of them as gullible, which may be partially true, but they're also victims. In my opinion ,The Left urgently needs to stop ridiculing them, and instead, come up with a comprehensive rescue strategy.
If you're the person who honks the horn at the driver who let's another driver in who was stuck in the driveway or a cross street, you're not well. You may feel okay (I doubt it), but, cutting to the chase, you should be in therapy.
