I watched the journalistic debacle that was the #CNNTownHall with Mike Pence. Pence had the affect of a marshmallow that suddenly became a sentient catholic priest. The audience was stuffed with Republicans asking softball questions. Tapper embarrassed himself. This is the latest downward spiral of a once respectable news organization. It was not journalism. It was a tooth extraction. And Pence will never be President.

Watched TFG's "announcement", which brought back the waves of nausea I feel whenever this lying pustule opens his mouth. The news media has learned nothing and continues to normalize this bum by serving up his excrement under glass with wine. I will not be watching cable news for the next 2 years, if it's all Trump. It's an embarrassment that it has consumed so much of our lives.
Plausible scenario:
1) Trump announces he's running;
2) DeSantis wins the primaries;
3) Trump runs as an independent;
4) The GOP splinters off 30% of its vote to Trump's "new" party;
5) Dems sweep 2024
6) We get to have nice things again.
You have to wonder what is broken in Mike Pence. You get the sense that his shriveled manhood is still in Trump's pocket in MAGA-Lardo. The idea that he sees himself as a viable Presidential candidate is frankly laughable - he'd start with the 30% or so of Trump supporters actively against him. And the one thing he could do - denounce Trump in the strongest terms - he's too weak to do. I guess he'll raise some money, but he'll never be President.
Gotta love how excruciatingly slow Kari Lake's defeat was - like a slow motion car crash. I don't ordinarily enjoy some else's discomfort, but she is a special case: a Trumpian election denier and shape-shifter that deserved an even greater defeat. #AzGov
