Things that make the RWNJ's lose their little minds
Who remembers the first words?
Yabba dabba doo!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
@sfleetucker I'm amazed that it got any traction in the first place.
@DarksideStraxus I grew up with the radio series, TV series, and books, went to see the movie on my Birthday, came so close to walking out of the cinema.
If you're looking for a cringe, cheesy, overacted, tropey Syfy 'sci-fi' - to ponder at how such a thing could exist while Farscape, The Expanse, Dark Matter got tossed away, check out 'The Ark'.
Just watched an episode where the peril was the engines had shut off, so without propulsion the ship just ground to a halt... in the vacuum of deep space... it just stopped... into the direct path of an oncoming comet... a moving comet, because physics is choosy like that... ugh. 😩 #scifi
@stueytheround I hope this ripples across other programming as well. They messed with Attenborough; dude's been at BBC since forever.
@Clavius_42: And to think that the Beeb used to have Bertrand Russell on frequently.
@stueytheround Exactly. From what I've heard on thought for the day, and no offence intended, it's mostly comprised of some decent thoughts and observations with 'because Jesus died for you' tagged on the end.
@DarksideStraxus But... but... he must be a genius... he was a regular on the Joe Rogan Experience... 😉
I've said for years the BBC isn't impartial. Alice Roberts, chair of Humanist Society at the time, wanted to be the first non-religious person to do 'thought for the day' and was given the sod-off.
I don't do football, but you can't deny it's top of the list of things in UK not to fuck around and find out. All power.
I wonder if the BBC rugby pundits will stand with their colleagues or sell their souls...
