Having been through a miscarriage in between two thankfully healthy pregnancies, I can confirm that you bleed. A lot. And these asswipes are blurring the boundaries between miscarriage and abortion, and yes, it is health care, and yes, it is quite possible for women to bleed out or suffer in other ways.

Yes, just because they don't die, doesn't mean they don't lose reproductive capabilities, or suffer other issues.

Absolutely all of those things. I completely agree. And then you mix religion with it, and wow. It's off to the races. I want to cry/scream with frustration.

I do think some of the people who are saying this sort of thing are incredibly ignorant of how pregnancy and miscarriage work. Plus there are elements of our society who just plain hate women, especially women who have sex, so you get colossal ignorance + a simmering undercurrent of hatred, and here we are. And of course doctors are afraid of being criminalized now, too. It's so messed up.
