@MidnightRider
That would have been nice.
How far is the drive?
@LnzyHou
An hour. I just made it. In the waiting room.
Let me know after you get home safe.
@LnzyHou
Home safe!! Thanks for checking on me 💋
Did all go well?
@LnzyHou
Thanks, they did.
@CinnamonGirlE
Pro tip for living with traffic:
When you get in your car, set a goal for how many people you will yield to on your drive
Changes everything
Most times my 20’ van is allowed to merge.
But sometimes they risk life & limb to refuse me.
It’s a power thing.
@LnzyHou @BrentSullivan
It is. And completely unnecessary.
@CinnamonGirlE @LnzyHou
That's why the goal is powerful--with it you let go of a power you don't really have, and refocus on a power you do have
@BrentSullivan @LnzyHou
I need to apply that in pretty much every arena of my life. The mind is an amazing thing.
@BrentSullivan I will remember that, lol! For the ride home.
One afternoon on the commute out of downtown a semi refused to let cars merge. In his determination he about pinned a state trooper to the barrier—and promptly learned a monetary lesson about merging
@Boilergal
FAFO
We were behind and watched it all unfold- first it was shock—-he’s gonna pin the cop into the wall—then laughter as the cop flipped on his lights.
@Boilergal
I would like to have seen it!
@CinnamonGirlE If citizens would like a smoother merge they should consider a turn signal and attempts to merge early in favor of speeding to the tip of the merge point and forcing their way in.
