@annamousse
Mom used Mr Coffee for many years. Tried and true.
Stan for Aeropress. If you're making coffee for one. not good as a thermos filler.
@northernbassist
Good to know.
@northernbassist @CinnamonGirlE I love my Moccamaster single cup (they also have full pot models). (Brews one cup at a time, not to be confused with a K cup machine). I also like my Breville espresso machine, although I’d like to get a better one (requires $$$$). I havent used my aeropress in forever, do enjoy it. On the fence about a Chemex. I may have a coffee “problem”. 🤪😁
@northernbassist @CinnamonGirlE would suggest looking for coffee makers that pass SCA standards. Oxo, Moccamaster and quite a few brands meet those standards to make a great cup of coffee.
@fuse @northernbassist
I know I have a coffee problem. But it generally originates when I don't have any, lol.
@CinnamonGirlE @fuse @northernbassist
I have the same problem.
@peeppeepcircus @CinnamonGirlE @fuse
<rh>
Decaf is a waste of water 😜
@grayman @northernbassist @peeppeepcircus @fuse
I opt for number 4 😂
@peeppeepcircus @CinnamonGirlE @northernbassist current setup includes a Fellow Ode grinder for the Moccamaster drip, a Niche Zero grinder for the Breville Barista Pro espresso machine, and a Gene Cafe to roast coffee beans along with Airscape containers for the beans. 😳🙄😁🥳
@peeppeepcircus @CinnamonGirlE @northernbassist that looks pretty cool!
@CinnamonGirlE
I like my Ninja drip pot. I think I got it at Target.
@okika_hilo
My most recent has been a Keurig. Convenience. But may move away from that this time?
@CinnamonGirlE
I like strong coffee, so Keurig has never done it for me. Plus, it is so wasteful.
I order my Starbucks coffee from Amazon on subscription, so they send me so many bags every other month. WAY less expensive than to buy locally.
@CinnamonGirlE
There are a ton of different Ninjas to choose from, depending on what you want. (I had no idea how many. I just looked them up.)
@CinnamonGirlE I read recently about how some roasts, grinds, and brewing methods can increase bad cholesterol. I don't remember the details, but the takeaway was that coarsely ground beans and slow drip was best. (French press one of the baddies.)
@CJLavoie
I think I remember seeing something, maybe it was posted here. Of course French press is a baddie. It's so good!
@CinnamonGirlE I am a huge fan of pour over. With a gooseneck kettle (@kel just posted one). I love it even more than french press (tho I have a jet boil french press for camping and power outages;)
@CinnamonGirlE I love our GE Cafe series. It's smart and reliable.
I hate Nespresso machines.
You can save $70 right now.

My favorite is my French press, but I also have a pour over that is good as well.
I had an old campfire percolator pot that made great intense coffee, and was usable if we lost power (as long as we could set fire to something).
☕🙂
@grayman set fire to something 😂
@CinnamonGirlE French press is my favorite..I have 3..
@LegalCAT
I am scrolling all the ones suggested. It's for sure I can't live without a good coffee maker of some kind.
@CinnamonGirlE We decided to buy a more expensive bean grinder and a less expensive coffeemaker. I’ve been really happy with the results. A pour over is kind of an art form and it takes awhile to get it right. I used to make really good coffee in the French press but somehow I’ve lost my touch
@CinnamonGirlE $20 black and decker works fine here.
