TN legislators are, by and large, very ignorant. They fill the desired role of their super PAC funders -- warm bodies that vote how they're told, keeping the culture war going so no one notices the class war. That many of them are religious zealots just works to capital's advantage.

I very much do not want to be forced out of my home, and I'll fight against it; I am not, however, going to perish in a concentration camp or be forcefully detransitioned in the real life version of Gilead.
My nesting partner said to me recently that I'd be one of the ones who got out of Nazi Germany. So, I'm standing tall but I've also got one hand on the escape lever.
