I finally decided to bite the bullet and do the Google Data Analytics course through Coursera. I started Wednesday and I'm almost done with week 4.

I know that I know a lot of this stuff already, but still feel like I'm going through it too fast.

This morning I got all ready to make lattes for me and my coffee loving kid (as I do on weekends) and discovered that the new carton of milk in the fridge expired January 4th. So I just brewed the espresso itself. Then my kid added some semisweet baking chocolate to our mugs and, dear readers, it was delicious.

As a health care worker that spent more than a little time working with older patients, I understand (clinically) how strokes can change someone's personality. And usually not in a pleasant way.

As a daughter, it's still very hard to watch it happen to my own mother.
