As we watch the GOP’s craziness show, let’s remember that workers who stayed at their jobs saw an average wage increase of 5.5% in November from a year earlier. That's the biggest jump in 25 years of record-keeping. GOPers have really been fighting against wage increases for decades. All of the republicans voted against the measures that increased workers’ wages.
In 2023, hard truths must be our guiding light. Exclusion is profitable. Having leverage to uphold double standards and corner folks into being deferential or consistently fearful of their economic wellbeing so that they kowtow to disrespect, bullying and microaggression is power. Let’s stop the madness and hypocrisy.
We must never ever give anyone enough power to bring back the triggered and unhealed versions of ourselves when we’ve worked so hard to become better than that. Let’s continue to move forward with love, kindness and compassion. #OneLove
This is a black and white photo of Veterans at the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg, during the Reunion of 1913 that someone posted, and I asked palettefm_bot to colorize it. Check out how great it turned out!

I don’t know about you, but the intelligence failures that led to the J6 Republican Party’s attempted coup d’etat wasn’t due to the failure of imagination at all. We know that had those jackbooted #MAGA domestic terrorist thugs been really people of color, thousands would’ve been killed by the combination of law enforcement and federal troops. We know the truth.
I think there should be this restriction on the pardon power, for both governors and Presidents:
You can write whatever pardon you like. But if you offer or extend a pardon to someone who is still under investigation or awaiting trial, for actual or prospective crimes, you will be charged with obstruction of justice, whether you are currently in office or not, as the offer of a pardon before the fact is implicitly a quid pro quo.
#political President Biden has built the most significant legislative record of any president since Lyndon B. Johnson.
