The ruble is slowly collapsing, currently worth less than a penny ($0.0099). It's been on a downhill slide since August and only a combination of monetary policy and Soviet style fakery has kept it from imploding like an Ocean Gate submersible. The slide actually started in June 2022, a few months after Putin invaded Ukraine, but the central bank and some crafty sanctions dodging have managed to help it land softly, but this won't last forever. The wheels are falling off.

If you wonder why I seem to have suddenly turned on the Democrats and started to call them out for helping, this is why.

I am not doing a both-sides argument here, the GOP is absolutely beyond the pale in atrocities. I am saying Democrats are actively helping them while pretending to be opposed to them. It is all for appearances, and the Democrats are working with the GOP.

@CanisPundit This is a head scratcher. He resigned effective immediately, but was re-elected in a not-yet certified election. Being unwilling to serve the term he was elected to might allow the state republican party to elect a replacement and skirt a state wide special election. Not sure what Florida requires in this case, or if that process is even fleshed out yet.
