I keep worrying how other folks here are doing, so I'm going to keep a small personal account to touch base with people during the coming hardships, but boy howdy, was I *angry* over a body of ignorance it's not my job to fix.
It is exhausting to live in a gamified world that constantly flattens rich cultures to simplistic subject-positions.
We have enough suppression of diversity to combat as is.
Will be locking this account soon, but much warmth to everyone striving for decency in the fray.
Also, @AbZurd_Zine went PRO immediately, because this sure as heck isn't J's fault.
My issue with the chilling effect here was bigger than "the tools" - it's more about "where is it worth spending my energy in the world ahead?" - but J has struggled hard to make this a space where folks can be more responsible adults amongst themselves - and been attacked plenty for it.
So nothing but kudos to him. And this will be a PRO account soon, too.
I'm just pouring more of my own energy elsewhere. 👍🏻
