Some guitar show pics. ‘58 Jr & ‘58 Black Beauty ($60k). I sold some gear I’m not using/not going to use and picked up some classic Guitar Player magazines.
i have questions about #1…why scallop the back like that? why the ultra severe neck angle?

@northernbassist I did not ask so here’s my conjecture. I think the builder was going for a lute inspired guitar. Aside from the the aesthetic’s of the scalloping it is ribbed for her pleasure. Again, only conjecture.
