I used this as a starting point:

Substitutions:
a can of Warka Polish beer instead of gin and water.
No ground beef, just more cubed beef.
Dried chili ancho guajillo peppers instead of green peppers.
And added a few ounces of 100% cacao and diced mini sweet peppers at the end for serving.
I’d repeat this.
