@catlynne333 there are Christian sects in which women are treated as possessions, chattel. The US has states in which marital rape is treated differently than a non-spouse being raped. And some evangelicals argue for having child brides. The system is rigged against women. It’s tradition. Why are some Christians giving Trump a pass on his treatment of women? I‘ve hinted at it, don’t want to spoil the answer. 😉
