Waiting at the ophthalmologist to see if I need a new glasses prescription. My insurance covers #lasik 100% but things coming near my eyeballs freaks me out beyond all rationality. And I absolutely cannot be awake for that shit.

@BlueTsunami It's ironic. I think one of the main reasons some humans feel they have the luxury of saying that life begins as soon as the egg and sperm touch is because of the very science and technology they revile.

Not long ago, nobody counted it as a baby until they felt it kick, because losing a child was so common, and there was no good way to see how it was coming along without modern medicine. Nobody wanted to get their hopes up - even after the baby was born.

My goodness storm surge 10+ feet in Cedar Key in FL will be catastrophic. Hope people listen and evacuated. You can’t outrun 10 feet of storm surge. Praying for everyone in path. Listen to officials go inland don’t wait. Take pets important papers. 👩‍🦰
