@MrGoat when I read this earlier, they said he'd died from grief. Another said "a broken heart." I'm used to seeing those descriptions used as a euphemism for suicide.

It isn't any better that he was lost to a medical emergency, but the clarification still feels like a kindness to his memory. 💔
