@BlisterPearl
I'm sorry, but this did not stop the robins from getting into our patch last year. It might work until they've discovered the real fruits. Then it's over. They just tap until they find the soft things.
@rokkinbobokkin Thx. We'll keep using the nets.
@BlisterPearl
Better plan. We uprooted and will start over in a different spot later.
@rokkinbobokkin I understood you. Thank you for saving my fruit. The cabbage moths like to lay eggs on the netting and we have to oil it after every season.
Small price to pay, I suppose.
@BlisterPearl
My emotional response is nothing compared to someone that's say, 20 years older. They get red mad.
I kinda just shrug and tell myself to do better at designing the next year.
@BlisterPearl
They do look eerily like Olivia Wilde tho
@rokkinbobokkin I'm fenced with raised beds, but use the garden fence to trellis grapes. Those chonky raccoon bastards will warp the fence, harvest my late veggies and take the grapes as payment for their services.
I hate raccoons in late summer.
@BlisterPearl
My worst gluttonous wild friend on veggies is groundhog fren I call The General.
The deer just eat new budding plant ends.
I'll have a net this year.
@BlisterPearl
My bane is them damnable urban deer. They get my peppers at about 1' and stunt them so bad.
