OK LETS LEARN WORD ROOTS

“Homo” is a Latin word root, translated to “Man”

“Homo Sapiens” literally translates to “Wise man”

“Cis” is a Latin word root meaning “On this side” or “Typical” in English.

Scientific terms aren’t slurs, homo in a scientific sense isn’t a slur. And neither is Cis.

Homo and Cis aren’t there to demean they’re there to DESCRIBE SOMETHING

TYRANNOSAURUS REX isn’t called “King of Tyrant Lizards” as an insult.

It’s just a Latin descriptor.

Like this is basic fucking English.

And by the way as an added point a metric fuck ton of words contain the word root “Cis”

Like the word “deCISion”

And “ConCISe”

Because that’s how words work, word roots that mean things are combined to describe something.
