So I am still a little perplexed as to how my latest book ended up on Barnes and Nobles’s website. Self publishing through Amazon does offer “extended distribution” to other retailers but that isn’t a guarantee. Doing a bit of research suggests that you have to make a marketing proposal to B&N, which I didn’t do. It seems like this was a deliberate choice by someone as none of my other #books are on there. Either way, it is pretty cool! Feeling really good about this.

Maybe this is taboo but I am a writer and don’t read fiction very often. I am told that my writing reads like watching a tv show or a movie. #amwriting

I casually stopped drinking in 2018. I finally found a use for my old whisky glasses: a small evening glass of very strong cold brew.

My first story, a sci-fi novelette, came to life in a completely inexperienced three-week sleepless writing binge. I am proud of how it came out, against all odds, and I am grateful it led me to write more. But I have grown a lot as an author since then. I love writing. #writingcommunity

AirPod Pro’s are a really amazing product. I find the noise cancelling makes me feel less anxious. I was able to focus and think more clearly. Was very productive today. Wearing them changes your perception. Transparency mode seems to not let in all noise but only important frequencies. It is slightly surreal. Never thought headphones would have such a profound impact on me. I am very impressed.

Was getting a filling at my dentist one time and he insisted I could choose ANY artist as a pandora station. I said Aesop Rock. It was an awesome mix but a bit surreal to get drilled to. The first couple F’ bombs distracted him a bit but he eventually got his composure.

We all need to punch up more and down less. Give billionaires hell, not already marginalized people. I guarantee you the former has a larger negative impact on your life than the latter.
