@corlin @MLClark as is everything in life! But wonderful things to aspire to/practice!

@MLClark @corlin that sounds like a wonderful idea. Iโ€™d be happy to collaborate on this. Let me know when you want to discuss!

@corlin @MLClark those are all wonderful principals to live by. Thanks for sharing!

@corlin it is an incredibly powerful and transformative practice. More people should do it.

Theravada Buddhists dress the deceased in white and lay the body out for a vigil, during which monks are invited to chant and offer blessings. The dead personโ€™s hand lies extended, and visitors pour a cup of water over the hand into a bowl of water in which blossoms floatโ€” asking forgiveness for any transgressions against the person during her life.

In the monastery, when an elder monk or nun dies, the vigil can last a week. And all are instructed to Meditate on Death.

@redenigma yep! It will be getting paint thinner on it whenever I clean the stamp so I want to protect the wood.

@redenigma oh no, sorry I was kind of unclear. Doing poly on the wood block that this rubber speedball block will be glued to. This will be a stamp, and I am putting polyurethane on the wooden parts.

@stueytheround @MrGoat thank you so much! Excited to take this out for a spin when it is all assembled. Think Iโ€™m going to leave a bunch of these laying around.

@ACG2 yoga is amazing, isnโ€™t it? Good job getting your body moving!

Stamp is carved! Love how this came out. I will explain the meaning/significance in a blog post at some point in the future. Currently putting polyurethane on the block and then I will assemble!

@MrGoat here it is!
