Just learned something interesting. Doug as he originally appeared is in the Public Domain. Both, the USA Network ident & Florida Grapefruit advert featuring Doug were released without copyright notices & not registered within 5 years, making them PD under 80s-era copyright law.*
*This only applies to these appearances & not the later Nick and Disney Series and movie, which are copyrighted by Nick (Owns the rights to the original episodes only) and Disney ( Owns the later series and characters).
@Alfred what is the best order to read the Confucian classics in?
@Alfred Are there any compatibility layers available for Puter OS? If not, do you think such a thing would be possible, given the nature of Puter OS?
New video out now!
It's a new episode of Big Mike's Indie Game Watch & in it we will be looking at God For a Day by @funkyforest1 one of the most unique point & click games ever, featuring parodies of Danny Trejo, Tony Soprano, Walter White, Belle Delphine & more!
This is why I would never buy any kind of media that's not physical or something I could download and with the current media ownership hellscape I would suggest others not to either
WHERE DO THE ADS END?
It would be one thing to see ads in game on a billboard on the roadside, but something else to have ads flashing in your face, mid game, and given that it is EA, that is a very real possibility.
Just a matter of time before we get ads in dreams ala Futurama
Just saw this for the first time and it looks like it is going to be a fun movie. Twister was one of the most memorable disaster movies from the 90's. According to IMDB it's neither a remake nor a reboot, and also not a direct sequel, but a standalone sequel (it has no connection to the previous film) and I think that is a great call.
I loved The Office, it was a defining part of my university life. It inspired me, along w/ Clerks to make my first independent film. I was originally skeptical when I first heard rumors of The Office returning, but now am much more confident. It'll be handled like Parks & Rec, which originally was meant to be an Office spinoff, set in the same universe. This new show is set in the same universe, with the same (fictional) film crew who filmed the original.
