Went back to the day job today and edited three chapters. Pretty win!

For the curious: Yes, yes I did get a flu shot.

Okay, I'm optimistic about feeling good again! I'm going to ease into this week with some editing and then shift into writing again.

Repeating again: DO. NOT. GET. THE. FLU.

I mean...if you can avoid it.

I'm still waiting to feel human again, but every day is getting a little better. It's amazing what little things like getting dressed and showering are doing for my self esteem right now.

It took five days, but I've finally broken my fever! 🥂 🎉

Got nailed with the flu this weekend. It's pretty bad. Definitely recommend avoiding.

The flu continues to run through the house as the Oldest has gotten it next. Thanksgiving was spent at home, being low key, with lots of gaming and sleeping.

For accountability purposes, I'm going to put my agenda for the day up:

- Wash towels
- Start cleaning up the kitchen
- Start Christmas decorating
- Finish "Dying of Politeness"
- Catch up on comics
- Twitch some more "Sackboy"

Bonus points for editing.

Might do some more daydreaming about 2023 goals too. Because it's vacation!

Okay, I think my first official stream game is going to be "The Last of Us Part 1". I haven't played it, and I want to before the show starts. This should be interesting because I suck at survival games and I don't enjoy horror. Join me on twitch to see this disaster.

Happy Thanksgiving for all who are celebrating! Regardless, I hope you all have a wonderful Thursday.

Am I the only one who is constantly evaluating their writing goals and wondering what they're doing with their life?

Decided to take the day off from writing. Binge watching too much tv instead.

Just got up from sleeping, and I had a rather inspiring dream for a project.

The downside, I feel like the flu is coming for me next.

My agenda for the day (for accountability purposes):

- Finish the laundry I started at midnight.
- Go back to sleep once the older kid is on the bus.
- Try to write some words.

That's it. That's the plan. I'm not going to bother to do anything else productive. I spent all of that energy yesterday.

My sick child had a night terror...while throwing up. It was like something out of the exorcist. When he finally woke up and I told him what happened (and that he needed to shower) his eyes were O_O.

So...I'm tired.

Got 1600 words done, and I'm just shy of 19k on my project. I'm so determined to win this. Good thing I've still got a week to try! I'll be a winner if I even make it halfway.

I took a long, deep nap this afternoon and I'm feeling so refreshed. Looks like I'll be home again tomorrow with my sick kiddo. This both relieves me and stresses me out at the same time.

Time to get back to words.

While the kiddo is sick and the hubby is at work, I've invaded the man cave for my writing space instead of my usual zone (which is where the sick kid is). The cat is yelling at me to get out because ThIs IsN't ThE wAy We Do ThInGs!
