are you asking if somebody can take a picture of you sitting in the theater or are you asking if somebody can look at what you’re typing on your phone.
my personal opinion is everybody has a right to privacy with anything they do it doesn’t matter if they’re out in public. But I guess the paparazzi in the United States has shaped peoples thinking about who does deserve privacy and who doesn’t… Idk @Smersh
oh, yes! :) I know the law (sort of), I guess my answer was coming from more of a general ethical point of you, and just what I feel in general. @Smersh
@Armchaircouch it the US you can absolutely photo or video anyone in public as long as you’re not creeping over a fence or elsewhere with a reasonable expectation of privacy, per SCOTUS. IDK if that translates to a theater full of people though…
