Messed up a work thing. Set myself back quite a bit of work. But I think I understand why it broke and how to do it better next pass. Stressful start to my day, but I got this. At least it's just a step back. Could have been a lot worse.

Sometimes all it takes is just doing the !@#$% updates. But that weird thing where my keyboard wasn't quite working seems to be gone. Not gonna argue.

Hello from my new laptop. Finalizing a few sign-ins and I think I'm all fixed up. Took a bit with getting some updates to take correctly, but I think it's all good now.

It must be Thursday. I never could get the hang of Thursdays.

But the coffee is good today, and I have new tech arriving. Plus a long weekend on the horizon. Lemme start up my "Two Steps From Hell" station and have at it.

I've gone straight to "no more fucks to give" regarding the behavior of some people where I work. If they can't be bothered to follow rules, I won't be bothered to give them access to my server room.

Well, it's 5 hours now and I need to not ask the universe for things. Not related to my job, but just watched a vehicle drive the wrong way on the main road here. Yes, noted the vehicle and reported to security.

I've only been at the office for 3 hours. The day is slow because it's quiet in here. Not that I mind the peace. But finding myself feeling unsettled and wanting someone to need something.
