In 2022, I embraced my inner fanboy and read a stack of ALIEN #novels. As you'd expect, quality varies.

Basically: COLD FORGE and ECHO are fantastic #horror even if you're not into Alien. INTO CHARYBDIS is pretty good but lore-heavy; INFERNO'S FALL is okay; COLONY WAR was so bad I literally couldn't finish it.

VASQUEZ is next on the #fiction to-read list; V Castro gets good reviews so I'm hopeful.

You may know Clotho (Spinner), Lachesis (Alotter), and Atropos (the Unturnable) ... or as they are known in Greek Mythology, the Fates.

But have you heard of the Norns?

Their names were Urdr (Past), Verdande (Present), and Skuld (Debt). They were depicted as aged, gray-headed hags, and they were respected by all for the immense power they possessed over the destinies of gods and humans alike.
