@Apocryphiliac this and police story are my two favorites.
@__p__e__t__e__ They were my favorite band from like ‘99 to about ‘02 and I saw them live at least 6 times in that span. Killer live band, and Justin is legitimately one of the realest bandleaders I ever met.
@__p__e__t__e__ The crazy thing is that I felt like I “aged out” of their audience by the time I was in my early-20’s because somehow their audience seemed to get younger and younger by the mid-aughts and I felt like an old man at the shows. On the plus side, I had like 30 lbs. on all the skinny little punk highschoolers by then, so slam dancing become more fun for more (didn’t try to hurt anyone, but didn’t have to worry about getting my bell rung anymore).
@Apocryphiliac good era of all shades of punk music. I missed Nirvana, so late 90s were my thing for sure
