The piano world’s new star proves his musical creativity in a genius response to a mobile phone, during an intimate Gershwin solo.
Hayato Sumino, who also goes by the name Cateen, was playing Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue when the moment of interruption and inspiration occurred.
“It’s in a musician’s nature to instinctively react to the sounds that they hear around the, even when making their Classic FM Live/Royal Albert Hall debut,” Hayato said afterwards.
There have been comparisons by my fellow Bruins between the current protests and the proests in the 1980's. When we protested, very loudly, for the divestiture of all investments by UCLA in South Africa during my day the reaction wasn't as severe as what's happening now (and I was there) there were still arrests, although not as many.
No rubber bullets and smoke grenades that I can recall.
It's about the response to the protests, and it must change.
And now, your moment of Whale Sharks.

Thanks to a provision in the Secure 2.0 Act, legislation aimed at improving retirement benefits nationwide, in 2024 employers will be able to start counting student loan payments as qualifying contributions toward retirement matching programs.
That means if your employer offers to match your 401(k) contributions, you could get that matched money without ever depositing funds in your retirement account.

New Lake Street Dive album coming in June. Here's the first single
Lake Street Dive--Good Together
There is no good Youtube version of this I could find.
Sometimes I like ambient. I really like this. "Liberamente", by Dawn Chorus and the Infallible Sea. I was chasing a rabbit down a hole and came across this.
I know that it's really the point of the whole thing, but the main character in "Hananoi-kun to Koi no Yami" is really broken. This #anime is spelled out like a cute romance anime, but I'm actually hoping that the two leads don't get together.
I mean, Hananoi-kun is the kind of kid who grows up to be a serial killer.
My oh my. New music from David Gilmour.
I don't give a damn what side you're on, you need to see this. If you're not moved by it I don't want to know you.
Is anyone out there who watches #anime watching the new season of Date A Live?
I think the show is suffering from having too many characters. It's not as fun as it once was.
