Remember when Lionel Richie was just a member of the horn section?
Somehow I had managed to not hear this song until today.
Dua Lipa, "Houdini"
Meet 3 super cool kids fro the bay.
Blush Hour, performing "Strange".
My music just wasn't meant for Tik-Tok.
10:48 and I couldn't edit out a single second.
Chart Position!
This chart is pretty fluid and it won't last, but after the crappy day I've had I'll take it.
As promised, here is the blog version of Radio Free California Episode 2346, complete with radio station notes and links, cheap shots at the news of the day (and I do tend to curse a bit)

And here it is, Radio Free California Episode 2346! New music this week from Maneskin, glass beach, Bloc Party, Field Medic, Allison Russell, Leo, PinkPantheress, the first new music from Scream since Dave Grohl left the band to join Nirvana, Wallat, Bas Jan and more. Enjoy!
As always, my blog version of this posting will be up later, which will include cheap shots at the news of the day and Radio Station Notes.
Tomorrow is 11/11 - veteran's day but to me it will always be Armistice Day.
I released an album called "11/11" some years ago. This is the track I'm most proud of, which has nothing to do with 11/11.
I'll post that one tomorrow. But in the meantime...

In what will be a first for Radio Free California, I will be adding a song by a band with ZERO followers on Spotify, and no Social Media presence I've been able to find.
Okay, they now have one follower.
Of All People. The song is called "Infatuated"
I thought I had heard every version of this. I was wrong.
"Classical Gas", interpreted by Lucas Imbiriba. Enjoy

New Music discovery. "Victory Peach".
New EP out now!
Tomorrow, October 19th at 9am and again at 9pm PST I will be playing the new album by Uni Boys called "Buy This Now!" at the Radio Free California radio station/app. See my pinned posts under my profile for the links.
It's good advice. Uni Boys are a young 4 piece that just released their 2nd label album and I like it. They remind me a lot of the early Replacements or perhaps The Posies. Solid pop/rock that doesn't seem to take itself too seriously.
Enjoy!
As of now I have re-uploaded 805 songs to the Radio Station, and the rotation has been restarted. I hope to have another 400 or so songs uploaded by this time tomorrow, and the remaining 400 or so by the weekend.
Given that most radio stations have a rotation of only about 120 songs, I think I'm making good progress.
