We actually live in a world where nobody really has any authority over any other person or their decisions.
We can take actions and react, and other people can, too.
We can choose to believe in rules or laws, or we can flout them.
Someone can _force_ another person into a position or mislead them or threaten them.
But it's actually a free-for-all.
We _can_ however, _agree_ and promise to behave a certain way towards one another, and then _keep that promise_.
