Yesterday was National Sober Day and it got me thinking…
Over the years I have posted images of various alcoholic beverages to mark an occasion or convey a mood, but I am now wondering if that has been insensitive to the folks who have achieved or are working towards sobriety.
I will use a CW in future with the hashtags #cheers or #wajamatime to signal the image content for those who want to avoid.

Honoring the 7 generations.
What does this mean to you? What sorts of things do you think or do in consideration of this?
It is a practical way to maintain our communities
Each generation should learn from the 3 generations that came before ours, protect and teach the next 3 ahead of ours, and teach, learn from and protect our own.
It’s not 7 generations into the future, although it’ll help them—and us all, if we are mindful, practice and act.
