The original sculpture didn't include the train car. Luckily, it was located where it was, or the car would have plunged to the ground when it ran off the end of the elevated tracks.

Although that was not the intended purpose of the plastic sculpture, it was coincidentally names, "Saved by the Whale's Tail."

Not sure how many people get the comic strip "Jump Start" in their newspapers. The storyline is that cop Joe Cobb is attending a class on "Emotion Control and De-Escalation." When he finds out it's being taught by his retired-cop dad, he expects to ace the course:

Early votes cast by young voters as of 11 days before the election 2015 vs 2020. This can't be making the GOP candidates downticket very happy.

This guy sounds like he's fit right in here. From the Associated Press story on early voting today:

"The Senator from Maine said that Barrett’s dithering verged on being 'annoying and even aggravating.'”

Too bad we have COVID. This is what was needed after that last debate.
