Word to the wise, out there.. if you have one who is elderly, home bound or alone, Please check on them. Please see how they are spending their days / nights. Online predators are aggressive. I have had to literally tell them to "Fuck off".. not classy but when it comes to these MFers coming for the hard earned monies of the elderly.. there's no room for being nice. Please check in on your tribe. Your elders especially.
@MrsE0113 When I was taking care of my friend’s Dad, I was shocked at how much the phone rang with grifters. And the commercials were grifting. And they didn’t even have the internet.
It’s disgusting.
Get them on the do not call list, if they aren't. The calls come every couple minutes for people who aren't on the list.
If they're on the list and still get calls, reporting to the FTC is worth doing. They need evidence to shut off access to the US phone system for the internet phone companies that service the scammers.
