Started explaining to my 16yo (before she headed off to school) what’s happening south of the border re: SCOTUS and Roe v Wade, as she’s bound to hear something today. She got the gist, kind of. She processes more slowly and struggles with abstracts (has Mild Intellectual Disability). I need to find kid-friendly resources to help her better understand how the 1973 ruling works, precedent vs law, and how repealing it will affect women.
