@AI78 They can trace which post office it came from and see who is doing mass mailings on the video cams. This needs investigated and noisily prosecuted.

@AI78 also if someone dropped mail in my box they would be caught on 2 of my cameras, and at least 2 more neighbors. Lol
@AI78 they would know if the hand delivered it bcuz the stamp would not be cancelled and there would not be a scan of it. That is a federal offense all by itself. Also, it's unlikely to be 1 letter sent. If a street mailbox is being used to drop for many letters it would still go through the PO. They can narrow down where and depending on location there could be cameras.
Depending how smart they are there's DNA, fingerprints, hairs.
