When a spacecraft is not orbiting a planet or other celestial body, say a spacecraft like Voyager 1 and 2, is the spacecraft "flying"? To me flying would require air for lift. The term moving just doesn't seem to be adequate enough for "spaceflight".

Yes, my mind is going to weird areas of thought. It happens when I'm not focused exclusively on a subject.
