Motherfucker.

Nobody's asking you to change history, you duplicitous dickhead. What's being asked is you compensate people for harms done to them.

@Helical_Code So, I didn't actually look up what NStar really does, sorry - I just love the idea of a local boyband grinding and 'tearing up the street' too much πŸ˜‚

Any Fallout 76 players here? I don't play half as much as I used to, but sometimes you just gotta shoot things in the face and this is what's scratching that itch atm...

@Helical_Code I'm in the UK and hadn't heard of NStar. My first thought, on reading this thread, was that they were some boyband 😁

Trimming, not thinking. IF ONLY I could do it by the power of thought alone...

So, just going out to my Pilates class today, I figured it'd be good to have a bit of a shave, rather than go out looking like a homeless sasquatch.

But then -

TMI WARNING

- I was thinking my nose hair and nicked my nostril. Thankfully, I had some Hemo Stop (that's the brand name, not sure what the actual stuff is called), so stopping the bleeding was easy enough.

Trouble is, it dries into a residue and it's really NOT a good idea to go out with white stuff caked around your nostril..

@process It's funny how Springsteen's popular image can get so messed up. I remember having a conversation with a coworker years ago where I mentioned I was a fan and he said he wasn't really into all that 'Born in the USA America! Fuck Yeah! bullshit', which then led into a chat about how Born in the USA was actually a Vietnam protest song and stuff.

Think I'm done risking international incidents with Italy over dinner - tonight's is just gonna be ham and mustard rolls, or possibly hotdogs, with some leftover olives

@mcfate Yeah, overthinking shit probably helped get me in the mess to start with, I'm just gonna roll with it and see how it goesπŸ˜‚

@th3j35t3r This is because, at the start of every year, people can make resolutions for themselves

Actually, one other thing I should mention - I started doing it, in part, because I was in a bit of a bad place at the time and figured exercise is supposed to be good for mental health as well as physical.

Tonight, walking home afterwards, I did feel really good after. Like, calmer, not so dragged down by stuff. Might just be endorphins that'll wear off soon, might be some other factors, I don't know, but it it was unexpected and noticeable.

Third Pilates class just finished. Must be working, I can actually move afterwards without problems now!

I think that when you've done something wrong, you should own up to it and apologise.

Italians, I'm sorry about the carbonara-inspired pasta dinner that I just made with egg mayo, frankfurters and cheddar cheese. In my defence, it was late on a Sunday and the shops were shut so I had to make so with what I had.

I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me πŸ˜”

Watched the TV cameras cut from the studio to where I was, had a bit of an OH SHIT moment when I figured out what was happening.

Woke up at the point I was getting in a car to get taken off to the studio.
